IAHSP® STAGING INDUSTRY AWARDS

Join us in recognizing deserving colleagues in the Home Staging Industry! Each year, IAHSP® awards winners in various categories. We announce award winners at our Annual Conference & EXPO. To NOMINATE YOURSELF OR A DESERVING COLLEAGUE – look at the list of categories and then get the required information together.

These awards recognize the Best Occupied Staging work for 2021. Submissions should include before and afters of the main rooms. You can submit up to 6 images or videos. Those voting will be asked to consider:

1. Proper Furniture Placement 2. Transformation Score – how much the room was transformed by Staging 3. Creativity Challenge Score – how hard it was for the Stager to stage based on what was in the property, budget limitations, and owner limitations 4. Staging Success story – how did Staging impact the sale? 5. Budget for Occupied Staging

  • BEST VACANT STAGING – SMALL SQUARE FOOTAGE
  • BEST VACANT STAGING – REGULAR PRICE POINT
  • BEST VACANT STAGING – LUXURY PRICE POINT

These awards recognize the Best Vacant Staging work for 2021. Submissions should include images of the main rooms. You can submit up to 6 images or videos. Those voting will be asked to consider:

1. Proper Use of Furniture to Scale 2. Proper Placement of Furniture, Art and Decor 3. Color and Trends 4. Pricing of Project – Budget 5. Success of Staging (how did the Staging impact the sale)

Tell your Success Story and let us know how much over LIST PRICE the property sold for AND what the regional averages are for your market. Staging is proven to help houses sell for MORE and stagers who achieve this in big numbers are helping elevate our statistics worldwide.

  • TOP HIGH PRODUCTION STAGING COMPANY

We want to recognize staging companies that do high production of 200 or MORE Vacant or Occupied Hands-on Staging projects per year.

  • TOP SMALL STAGING COMPANY (1-2 MEMBERS)
  • TOP MID-SIZE STAGING COMPANY (3-5 MEMBERS)
  • TOP LARGE STAGING COMPANY (6+ MEMBERS)

These categories recognize the Staging business owners and companies in our industry. We have 3 categories being recognized: Small Staging Companies have 1-2 members on the team. Mid-Size Staging Companies have 3-5 members on the team. High Production Staging Companies have 6+ members on the team. MEMBER = Stagers and Movers – Team Members who are out in the field doing the work. Temporary labor does not count. Logistics and Operations members do not count towards assigning which category your company belongs in.

These categories recognize individuals or entities deserving of recognition.

RISING STAR – 0-1 YEAR IN BUSINESS – the winner of this award is a new Stager in business a year or less (since Sept 2020), and is achieving great success in their efforts to grow a successful business.

IAHSP SPIRIT AWARD – represents what IAHSP®

IAHSP SPIRIT AWARD – represents what IAHSP® stands for and the individual who receives this award has served the industry, gives back to others and to our industry, encompasses the Spirit of IAHSP that is about helping others and fostering cooperation and camaraderie in our industry, and elevating the standards for Staging worldwide.

IAHSP CHAPTER OF THE YEAR – this award recognizes the top IAHSP® Chapter who has grown in size, provided excellent education an networking opportunities for its members, and fosters an atmosphere of cooperation and collaboration.

TRAILBLAZER AWARD – this award recognizes the innovators in our industry who have developed new products, services, curriculum and events to help advance our industry and professional standards.

BARB SCHWARZ STAGING EXCELLENCE AWARD – this award is for the individual who exemplifies excellence in their staging business, their staging work, how they serve their clients, in leadership roles in our industry and is a person others look up to as a shining example of outstanding excellence in all aspects of their business and life.

Here are some guidelines for all awards submissions we need you to review:

  1. We prefer if nominations come from someone other than the Stager. However, self-nominating IS allowed for these awards.
  2. Once the registration and submission date has ended, there are no more submissions allowed because voting will begin.
  3. Voting will be by private judging by industry members followed by public voting. Private voting will count towards 85% of the final score. The public voting will count towards 15% of the final score.
  4. Submissions for all property categories must NOT include any information on who the stager is or the company name. This allows the evaluation to be anonymous.
  5. Submissions should be of properties that have NOT been shared extensively online on social media groups where those voting are likely to figure out who you and/or your company are.
  6. Votes will be kept secret until the Awards Recognition at our IAHSP® Conference & EXPO
  7. Submission form must be completed or else entry will be disqualified. NO LINKS TO ALBUMS OR WEBSITES ALLOWED. You must upload photos of your work. Videos are also allowed – up to 30 seconds.
  8. No submissions will be accepted AFTER the deadline has passed.
  9. You do NOT have to be an IAHSP® Member to win an award or to vote.
  10. Physical awards and plaques will be awarded at our 2021 IAHSP Conference & EXPO – LIVE in Denver! Those not in attendance to receive awards can pay to have them shipped to their address.

WHAT YOU NEED PRIOR TO REGISTERING ON THE AWARDS SITE:

You will need the following for VACANT and OCCUPIED HOME STAGING Categories, and Staging Success Story Category:

  1. Photos – you can upload all photos from a property that was Staged by the nominee. Videos are also allowed – they should not be longer than 30 seconds. You can upload up to 6 photos or videos per submission.
  2. The Vacant Categories are Luxury, Regular and Small Square Footage. Each category can have UP TO 2 Submittals only. You do not need to do 2 per category. NO LINKS ACCEPTED.
  3. Occupied Home Staging has 2 categories: Luxury and Regular. You can upload up to 2 examples of the nominee’s work. You will need to upload photos of the projects by property or you can upload photos of various properties. NO LINKS ACCEPTED.

What you need for INDIVIDUAL AWARDS CATEGORIES:

  1. INDIVIDUAL Award Categories require you to provide a head shot of the nominee and you will have to share WHY the person is deserving of the award. Be specific and share their accomplishments so the voters know why the nominee is deserving.
